Hanuman è un dio e un ardente devoto del dio Rama e un avatar del dio Shiva.
La scultura è in stile Bayon raffigurante una figura dinamica, riconoscibile come un alto ufficiale dalla pesante catena d'incarico che gli attraversa il petto. Immagini simili possono essere viste nei rilievi del tempio Bayon che illustrano scene di battaglia durante il XII secolo. Il concetto di comandante militare in forma di scimmia deriva dall'epopea indù del Ramayana, dove le forze del principe Rama furono aiutate dall'esercito delle scimmie guidato dal generale scimmia Hanuman.
Hanuman è montato liberamente su un blocco di legno.

Once we receive your order we try to ship all orders the same or next working day.
Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
All orders over 35 GBP will be shipped free of charge.
