Buddha Statue - Antique Thai Style Bronze Rattanakosin Happy, Fat, Laughing Buddha Statue - 14cm/6"
Measures (Height) 14cm/6"
A beautiful Thai Rattanakosin style Happy, Fat, Laughing Buddha or Budai.
This delightful Buddha is seated on a decorated Rattanakosin style throne, in the adamantine posture of vajraparyankasana, the right leg over the left.
His royal robes are draped over both shoulders. The lower helm of the robe comes all the way down so that the undercloth or skirt is completely covered.
His eyes are downcast, his compassionate face bestowing peace, blessings and inner serenity on his devotees.
The large ushnisha protuberance on top of his head, in the Rattanakosin style, symbolises his high level of spiritual development.
