Eine antike Java Style sitzende Bronze Devi Tara Skulptur aus dem 13. Jahrhundert Majapahit Stil.
Im Buddhismus ist Tara ein Bodhisattva. Sie ist die Göttin des Mitgefühls. Sie sitzt auf einem runden Lotus-Petal-Sockel, der selbst auf einem quadratischen Sockel mit dem rechten Fuß auf einer Lotusblütenknospe gestanden ist. Tara hält in ihrer linken Hand den Stiel einer Lotusblume, die sich über ihre Schulter erstreckt.
Sie trägt eine reich bejewellte Dhotis und Upavitas. Ihr Gesicht hat einen gelassenen Abguss-Blick. Tara trägt einen dekorativen javanischen Stil Tiara, auf dem Kopf, vor ihr Kirita-Makuta oder große konische Krone. Dies symbolisiert ihre Kontrolle über positive und negative Einstellungen.
Sie hat eine aquiline Nase und längliche Ohrläppchen mit großen Ohrringen. Hinter ihrer Göttlichkeit steht ein perlendes Aureole. Die stehende Skulptur hat eine wunderbare braune Malachit-Patina.

Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
All orders over 35 GBP will be shipped free of charge.
