Eine antike Java Stil sitzende Bronze Devi Tara Skulptur im 13.Jh. Majapahit Stil.
Im Buddhismus ist Tara ein Bodhisattva. Sie ist die Göttin des Mitgefühls. Sie sitzt auf einem runden doppelten Lotusblatt-Sockel, der selbst auf einem quadratischen Sockel steht. Sie trägt eine reich verzierte Dhotis und Upavitas.
Ihr Gesicht hat einen ruhigen, niedergeschlagenen Blick. Tara trägt eine dekorative Tiara im javanischen Stil, auf ihrem Kopf, vor ihrer Kirita-Makuta oder hohen konischen Krone. Dies symbolisiert ihre Kontrolle über positive und negative Einstellungen. Sie hat eine aquiline Nase und längliche Ohrläppchen mit großen Ohrringen.
Dahinter steht eine Perlenaureole mit Flammenrand, die ihre Göttlichkeit repräsentiert. Die stehende Skulptur hat eine wunderbare grüne Malachit Patina.

Items less than 2Kg we typically ship using Royal Mail.
Once we receive your order we try to ship all orders the same or next working day.
Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
All orders over 35 GBP will be shipped free of charge.
