    Un'antica scultura Devi Tara in bronzo seduta in stile Java nello stile Majapahit del XIII secolo. Nel Buddismo, Tara è un Bodhisattva. Lei è la dea della compassione. Qui è seduta su un piedistallo rotondo con doppi petali di loto, a sua volta posizionato su un piedistallo quadrato.

    Tara tiene la mano destra nel mudra che esaudisce i desideri: la mano destra rivolta verso il basso e il palmo verso l'esterno. Nella mano sinistra tiene lo stelo e i boccioli di un fiore di loto, che si estende sopra la sua spalla. Indossa dhoti e upavita riccamente ingioiellati. Il suo volto ha uno sguardo sereno e abbassato. Tara indossa una tiara decorativa in stile giavanese, sulla testa, davanti alla sua Kirita-Makuta o alta corona conica.

    Questo simboleggia il suo controllo sugli atteggiamenti positivi e negativi. Ha un naso aquilino e lobi delle orecchie allungati con grandi orecchini. Dietro si trova un'aureola dal bordo fiammeggiante che rappresenta la sua divinità.

    La scultura in piedi ha una meravigliosa patina di malachite verde.
