El poder que emana de esta convincente imagen de Vishnu caracteriza el estilo de Koh Ker.
Como es típico en este estilo, Vishnu tiene una cara suave y un moño alto, coronado por una flor de loto. Su tiara o jatamukuta (corona de pelo) también está ricamente decorada. Una tradición que continuó desarrollándose en Camboya desde el siglo X hasta el período posterior a Angkor.
Los rasgos de Vishnu demuestran una nariz prominente, un labio inferior prominente y un mentón firme. Esto es típico del estilo Koh Ker. Probablemente un retrato idealizado del rey Jayavarman IV, quien implicaba que su gobierno fue sancionado divinamente a través de la asociación con la iconografía tanto de Vishnu como de Shiva.
